Community Development Queensland is an informal network of people and organisations that have a passion for growing and sharing knowledge and practice of community development in Queensland.

CD Qld aims to support Community Development (CD) practice in Qld by:

• Creating a space for CD practitioners to network with colleagues
• Enabling training and mentoring to take place
• Providing policy advice to government about CD related issues
• Holding regular conferences, research and publications
• Building a broad base for involvement in CD across many sectors including arts, health, community sector, housing and others

Our website is a contact point for people interested in community development. Currently, 300 people, including practitioners and academics who research community development practice, are on our network email list.
