Importantly, membership also demonstrates your commitment to and passion for the expansion of an effective and connected network of community development practitioners state-wide. CD Qld receives no government or other funding - our membership fees mean we can maintain our website and grow our network's activities. By committing to membership of this site you are directly resourcing a tool that will: - enable the further development of the CD Queensland network;
- facilitate sharing of contacts, practice resources and stories;
- enhance the ability to communicate freely and effectively with other practitioners;
- enhance the profile and capacity of the CD profession; and
- generate new opportunities.
As a CD practitioner or worker yourself, it is up to you to get involved, contribute, utilise the networks and learn from the resources provided. The CD Qld website can only serve its purpose with an active membership committed to the growth and development of the network. How to Become a Member Fill out a CD Qld Membership Application Form and post it, together with your cheque for membership fees made out to Community Development Queensland to: Community Development Queensland c/- Sandgate & Bracken Ridge Action Group (SANDBAG) 153 Rainbow Street Sandgate Qld 4017 Once your payment is received, CD Qld will process your membership and send you an email advising you of your membership number and password. You can then use your membership number and password to access the ‘Members Log-In’ part of CD Qld’s website.
