Queensland Community
Development Conference
Port Douglas

14th (PM) to 16th October 2025

"Reimagining the past, shaping our future"

Taking place in magnificent Far North Queensland at Port Douglas, the biennial Queensland Community Development Conference was an opportunity to connect with change makers, connectors and collaborators, workers and dreamers who are passionate about community driven change.  This year's theme was "Reimagining the past, shaping our future" and whether you are new to community development or an experienced practitioner, this event offered a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, explore future directions, and discuss strategies for fostering meaningful change within local contexts.

Held just over 2 days, from 14th (PM) to 16th October 2025, the conference was held "street party" style in Mowbray Street adjacent to Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre, with events held across several stunning venues in the heart of beautiful Port Douglas.  Proudly brought to you by a collective of Far North Queensland Neighbourhood Centres, in partnership with Community Development Queensland and Neighbourhood Centres Queensland.
