Community Development Queensland is an informal network of people and organisations that have a passion for growing and sharing knowledge and practice of community development in Queensland.

CD Qld aims to support Community Development (CD) practice in Qld by:

  • Creating a space for CD practitioners to network with colleagues
  • Enabling training and mentoring to take place
  • Providing policy advice to government about CD related issues
  • Holding regular conferences, research and publications
  • Building a broad base for involvement in CD across many sectors including arts, health, community sector, housing and others

Our website is designed to enable CD practitioners to make contact with other workers and to share information, stories and resources.

Our website relies on contributions from CD workers and can only be successful if we all contribute to its content. So be sure to send us information about your upcoming events, your stories and reflections and links to other good websites.
